This Soviet cartridge was originally designed for subsonic use in AK style firearms. Many US companies are now offering AR style barrels, uppers, and complete firearms chambered in 9×39. Our brass is built to the CIP standard, and could have headspacing problems if used in firearms designed around non-standardized versions. Due the differences in chamber dimensions, we recommend you contact your barrel manufacturer about compatibility with our brass. This is not loaded ammunition.
